Saving Labels

You can save your labels for later use or for transfer to an XTL label maker. When you save a label, the label type, and all of the data and formatting are saved as well. All the data in the data grid is saved regardless of whether it has been mapped to the label. The location of a linked file is also saved with the label.

Multiple labels are saved as one label file.

• Each time you change label applications, you will be asked if you want to save the previous label if not already saved.

To save a label

1. Click .

   The Save As dialog box appears.

2. Name the label file and click Save.
