Troubleshooting
LabelManager Connect works with the DYMO LabelManager Executive 640CB label maker and DYMO D1 labels.
Bluetooth® Connection
Your label maker uses the latest Bluetooth® technology. Pairing is no longer necessary. The label maker will automatically connect to your device when you print.
- Make sure the label maker is turned on and the batteries are not discharged.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.

Make sure the label maker is within approximately 30 feet (10 meters) of your mobile device.
- Close LabelManager Connect and restart the app.
- Make sure the label maker is within range of your mobile device and that there are no obstructions between the two devices.
- Make sure the label maker is away from other wireless devices (including but not limited to microwave ovens, cordless phones, fluorescent lights, wireless video cameras, outdoor microwave links, wireless game controllers, and Zigbee devices) which may cause interference during printing.
- Make sure no other Bluetooth connections are active that could cause interference while printing to the label maker, such as streaming audio to Bluetooth speakers, voice call on a Bluetooth headset, and so on.

Make sure the label cassette is pressed firmly into position, until you hear a click.
- Turn off the printer.
- Remove the label cassette.
- Clear the label path of any label material.
- Make sure the tape is taut across the mouth of the label cassette and that the tape passes between the label guides.
- Turn off the printer.
- Remove the label cassette.
- Clear the label path of any label material.
- Insert the label cassette and try printing again.
If the problem persists, try cleaning the cutter blade.
- Remove the label cassette and close the bottom cover.
- On the label maker, press Settings and select Usage.
- Select Clean cutter and then press to start the cutter cleaning process.
You will hear a sound while the cutter blade is being exposed. -
Use a cotton ball and alcohol to clean both sides of the blade.
CAUTION: The cutter blade is extremely sharp. Use caution when cleaning.

Close the cover.
You will hear a sound while the cutter blade moves back into position.
You can now insert the label cassette.
